Chem-Pack simply stands for chemical packing, is one of the key services provided by our team of mobile Chemists, who come to you.

Transporting dangerous goods in the UK is highly regulated. Transportation of waste needs to conform to The Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road Regulations 1996, ADR regulations, IMDG regulations and IATA regulations. Add to this the Hazardous Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2005 and the current guidance on technically assessing waste (WM3) from the Environment Agency, plus numerous guidance notes from the Health and Safety Executive, this can be a tricky field to navigate.

At New Waste Solutions our trained Chemists and advisors are all ADR licenced (including explosive and radioactive) for transporting chemicals on the road; experienced technical waste assessors as required by the Environment Agency and are all registered Dangerous Goods Safety Advisors meaning we are qualified to advise and help you safely store, package, and transport your hazardous waste as well.

Our Chemists can tackle almost any request, from advice on how to package Lithium batteries, to conducting full site clearances of historic waste. We can offer to manage your waste storage area, repackaging and disposal of damaged, leaking or non-compliant containers; pumping out, dismantling and disposal of swimming pool water treatment systems; removal of chemicals from hazardous areas such as fire & water damaged laboratories, chemical stores and IDLs; remediation of fly tipped chemicals; Civic Amenity site paint, household chemicals and pesticide collections; clearances of chemicals from rented properties prior to new tenants; School, University and commercial laboratory lab smalls clearances or a scheduled service for solvent waste collections.

An efficient disposal service.
NWS were quick to respond to any enquiry in the lead up to collection. Once collection was agreed, Adam from NWS turned up as scheduled, he confidently and pleasantly managed the transfer of the listed chemicals to his van where he conducted the necessary sorting prior to departure. He happily coped with the requirements of working in a school environment.

Fantastic service!! From the initial quote to communication leading up to the collection the customer service was brilliant. I had a few questions which they were able to answer very quickly. They made the whole process so straightforward. At the collection the chemist was very knowledgeable and friendly and we had a good chat while he sorted through the waste. All round a great experience and will definitely use again.
